Private domain registrar

Hey,
I want a domain registrar that's heavily based on privacy and I also would like it to accept Bitcoin or any other crypto. Another thing I was wondering (as I want my website to be heavily secured and private) what domain extension I should use. A lot of private / shady websites / forums use .to / .io / .cc - why's that?
Apparently Gandi is good but a lot of people hate "v5" now?
I was also looking at Njalla as that's apparently good. Let me know what domain registrars you guys use! (and what extensions if you run a forum or a privacy based website and what not).
I was looking on some other Reddit posts and some people were speaking about "make sure to choose a domain registrar that isn't DMCA compliant to prevent domain theft?" or something along those lines?
I'm not an expert with domain registrars and such so that's why I'm asking :)

Bitcoin Cash: A Reflection on How Far We’ve Come

On August 1, Bitcoin resumed its original roadmap, scaling on-chain towards global adoption as Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash.
It’s been just 3 and a half months since Bitcoin Cash broke away from BTC in order avoid a software mutation called Segwit, and to restore progress and growth to the ecosystem.
After a recent price rally that saw us reach 0.5 BTC ($3000), the reality is setting in that an overnight ‘flippening’ scenario that some people hoped for is unlikely, and that we have a longer road ahead.
It’s really important to remember how much has been achieved in such a short time.
Let’s take a moment to reflect on how far we’ve come as a young community.
July:
August:
September:
October:
November:
This rate and scale of industry adoption is unprecedented.
With every BTC holder receiving an equal amount of Bitcoin Cash, and with the price over $1300, the rate and scale of user adoption is unprecedented.
With fast, reliable transactions and fees that are less than 1 cent, and with both BitPay & Coinbase hinting at a full Bitcoin Cash integration, the rate and scale of merchant adoption will be unprecedented.
With unprecedented industry, user and merchant adoption, it’s only a matter of time until Bitcoin Cash becomes the default medium of exchange and store of value cryptocurrency.
The old Bitcoin is back. You can feel it. It’s the resurgence of a grassroots movement not seen for years. People are putting Bitcoin Cash posters in the streets, handing out leaflets, tipping strangers a few dollars online, and asking in forums how they can contribute to the community.
Just in the last couple of days a ‘Bitcoin Cash Fund’ was established, to assist with marketing and projects. The initial goal was $200 to make a short animated advert, but over $17,000 has been donated already. All of this positivity and energy is inspiring.
While businesses are being forced to abandon BTC due to exorbitant and skyrocketing fees (upwards of $10), they’re being cheered on every day as they embrace Bitcoin Cash.
The original vision is still alive. As an early bitcoiner, I’ve never been more optimistic.
Make sure you involve yourself in the community, we’re just getting started :)

Blockchain Domains will be Huge Asset Class!

Who remembers what domain investing was like in the 1990s or early 2000s?
New digital real estate was being created from scratch and sold, launching an entirely new, purely digital, asset class. And as the internet filled up with new websites, premier domains began to shoot up in value.
Some companies in the .com era may have succeeded largely due to their domain and its primacy in search results. Today, this market has become stagnant, but innovation is popping up in a new area — blockchain domains.
  1. New domain extensions
If there’s one thing that blockchains are great at, it’s permissionless innovation.
New blockchain domain services can just launch on a public blockchain, no ICANN approval necessary.
  1. Payments are native
Another thing blockchains are pretty great at is payments.
So what if I told you that your blockchain domain will replace your cryptocurrency addresses for payments? Rather than sharing your bitcoin, eth, and other addresses when you want to get paid, just share yourname.zil.
Now when I go into a wallet to pay you, I type yourname.zil, choose from a list of currencies you accept, and pay.
Not only is this is a way to replace long addresses, but it’s also a way to easily accept any cryptocurrency. If you just want to receive whatever currency is easiest for folks who pay you, then set up your domain so you accept all of the top cryptocurrencies.
  1. Censorship resistance
With blockchain domains, the user stores the domain asset themselves inside of their cryptocurrency wallet, in the same way they store cryptocurrencies.
Blockchain domains are just assets on top of a smart contract platform like Ethereum. The only way to move a blockchain domain or change what information it points to, would be to control the private key of the wallet.
This is completely different than with traditional domains, where registrars like Godaddy & Google Domains are the holders of your domain asset.
So the next step after domain custody is to make it easy to build censorship-resistant websites.
Right now, users could point their blockchain domains to content stored on a self hosted server or a decentralized storage network. That means that today it is possible to have both a domain asset and a website associated with it that can’t be taken down.

Blockchain Domains Could Be a Much Bigger Asset Class Than Current Domains

This is due to:
  1. New features: Payments and censorship resistance solve huge problems that exist with current domains, turning them into global, permissionless tools for business
  2. New users : Traditional domains are for businesses, but everyone will need a blockchain domain to pay and get paid. There’s a consumer and a business use for blockchain domains so we could easily see 3 billion instead of 300 million traditional domains.
  3. Portability: The entire current DNS infrastructure could easily port from the current centralized DNS registry to a public blockchain at any point in the future. Eventually, blockchain naming systems will be the tech of choice.
The Zilliqa Foundation is partnering with Unstoppable Domains to launch .zil, a new blockchain domain system. The system will launch on Zilliqa and is the first blockchain domain system to support payments in multiple cryptocurrencies, all to one domain.
Unstoppable domains is building domains on blockchains. Based in San Francisco, the company has received funding from Boost VC and grants from both the Ethereum Foundation and the Zilliqa Foundation.
When the system is launched in June, a public auction will begin for all remaining domains. Bidding starts at $10. Bids are public, and they must be at least 2% larger than the previous bid. The auction will take place on the blockchain, and anyone can participate.
At launch, .zil domains will support multiple cryptocurrencies. This means that users can add all their Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Zilliqa addresses to one domain. To pay, someone opens up their wallet, types in yourname.zil, selects from a list of currencies that your domain supports, and pays.
You can open your account here https://unstoppabledomains.com/d6ee4241bb30494 and get that perfect name before everyone FOMO!Thanks

What do we know about LCC and the team behind it?

List of LCC team/promoters on reddit (please suggest others if you know of them)

BreadInTheBucket (redditor for 1 year) <---- Mod of /LCCofficial

More information:

Shout out to jaydoubleu who kicked off the idea with his original post here.

Who Accepts Bitcoin?

Who Accepts Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is the, without doubt, the biggest cryptocurrency. Many major companies around the world are now accepting bitcoin payment for online goods and services (in Denver, you can even use Bitcoin to pay for your parking!) An aggressive campaign led by Coinbase (where $1 million worth of transactions were processed for free) prompted large companies to start accepting bitcoin by using third-party services like Bitpay & Cryptopay. As the trend has been started it appears to be growing, so who accepts Bitcoin? There are some surprising companies and we’ve listed them below.
Who accepts Bitcoin?
KFC Canada – The world’s largest chicken franchise – KFC, is allowing customers in Canada to pay for “The Bitcoin Bucket” using bitcoins for a limited time. “The Bitcoin Bucket”, a themed container can be purchased for $20 CAD, and is delivered to customers. The digital currency is accepted only via BitPay – an online payment mode and does not encourage customers to pay crypto at the cash counters.
Overstock.com – This large online retail store sells electronic products at minimal prices due to excess stock. Overstock.com allows customers to buy using bitcoin. It is the first major retailer to accept bitcoins and other major cryptocurrencies.
Subway – Subway in Buenos Aires has begun to accept bitcoin as a payment method. The belief is that accepting bitcoin as a method of payment would increase business.
Microsoft – The tech giant Microsoft is enabling users to create a Microsoft account in which the user can deposit Bitcoin. A well-structured process allows users then, to utilize these funds for purchasing movies, games, and apps in Xbox stores and Windows.
Reddit – Reddit; a community that provides thousands of your favorite things. It allows you to buy premium features with bitcoins.
Virgin Galactic – Bitcoins are taking the place of old conventional currencies at a fast pace. Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group including Virgin Galactic, Virgin Mobile, Virgin Airline, (and many more) has said that Virgin is accepting bitcoins to reserve tickets for a space travel. Branson feels that Bitcoin is a low-risk option; he has invested in it in the past and encourages others to do so now. Space travel costs 98 bitcoins or 250,000 US Dollars.
OkCupid – OkCupid, the world’s most popular dating site has started accepting cryptocurrency. By partnering with Coinbase, OkCupid allow users to subscribe with bitcoin. The costs for a “premium subscription” list called the “A-List”, can be up to 0.10 bitcoins or $10 a month.
Namecheap – A domain name registrar and web hosting company with nearly 3 million domains are accepting the digital currency as a method of payment for their services. Namecheap is the first company among numerous domain name registrar companies to accept bitcoins for registering a website, hosting domains, etc.
CheapAir.com – Now, you can spend a little of your cryptocurrency on airline reservations, hotel bookings, and car rentals. CheapAir.com, a travel booking site enables customers to purchase both domestic and international flight tickets with bitcoin. It is the only company to accept bitcoin currency for air travel and customers can pay from their Coinbase wallets.
Expedia.com – The exclusive online travel booking agency Expedia, has partnered with Coinbase to create a bitcoin payment option. Since June 2014, Expedia users have been able to book their hotels with bitcoins. As of now, Expedia is accepting digital currency only for hotel bookings.
Gyft – Gyft, a leading digital gift card retailer offers gift cards in exchange for bitcoin. The association of Gyft with Coinbase ensures that bitcoin payments are made via a Coinbase wallet. Gift cards can be redeemed or used to purchase goods at over 200 retailers.
Newegg.com – Popular online computer hardware and electronics retailer now accepts bitcoin as payment. With bitpay as the digital currency processing partner, Newegg expects to see higher sales in certain product categories.
Wikipedia – Wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia with more than 4,570,000 articles has established a partnership with Coinbase to accept donations in the form of virtual currency. To provide users with an ease of choosing payment options, Wikipedia’s donation page is now flexible to make one-time or recurring donations using bitcoin.
Alza – The biggest and most successful Czech e-retailer store has introduced bitcoin payments for shoppers. In many of its showrooms, bitcoin ATMs are available to facilitate smoother transactions for those paying in bitcoin. It is accepted via BitPay.
The Internet Archive – The internet archive provides free access to web documentation such as music, software applications, games, and so on. It has expressed its interest in accepting digital currencies as donations. This nonprofit organization assures its supporters to use bitcoins to enhance its operations and achieve its mission of providing free and secure services to the public.
PizzaforCoins – Want pizza? Order now and pay using bitcoins at PizzaforCoins. Any pizza joint including Pizza Hut, Dominos or Papa John’s is available with this service. Order now, enjoy your meal and pay with bitcoins. It also accepts more than 50 other cryptocurrencies.
Reeds Jewels, Inc. – At REEDS.com, you can shop exclusive jewelry, watches, and loose diamonds with your bitcoins using a bitcoin wallet like Coinbase. Reeds Jewels has brick-and-mortar stores in 13 states and also offers online shopping. Purchase of loose diamonds is complimented with a free delivery.
Shopify Stores – Looking to spend bitcoins? Shopify – an e-commerce platform, helps merchants to sell their commodities through an online platform similar to eBay. Shopify has recognized digital currency and is integrated with BitPay to simplify the payment process.
Final thoughts…
Many companies are embracing digital currencies by partnering with crypto platforms to transfer digital funds in exchange for goods and services. Though many of the larger companies have started t0 accept bitcoin, so many are still lagging behind and have yet to jump on the band-wagon. The reality is that the future of online shopping is definitely heading towards virtual currencies and the time has come for bitcoin to be a staple payment option when you reach the tills. If you’re not in, you can’t win.

How to set up your own website as an independent escort in the US

I wrote this guide for escorts in the US who want to have their own website. It's not the least expensive way to go about it, but it's the least expensive way I know that also a) reasonably protects your privacy b) reasonably protects you from nosey law enforcement /crazy clients c) can be expanded upon later without significant costs. Criticism, questions, and suggestions welcome! Note that I have no financial connections to the companies mentioned, and do not necessarily endorse them. However, I also haven't heard anything bad about them.
At some point you may want a website that is unique to you, and more customized for your needs and desires. Here's a few design firms that specialize in escorts:
You can also hire a web designer through one of these general purpose services:
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Important Statement

Important statement
Published on August 25, 2017
Introduction
Hello everybody!
Our ICO was already launched two weeks ago. These two weeks came with many unforeseen events, as you probably noticed. However, we are still here and we will remain here for a long time, if not forever. In this statement, we will discuss the problems we have faced in the past two weeks and the solutions we have implemented for solving these pitfalls. We will also update you on several important points, on our predictions for the weeks to come and on upcoming events for transparency purposes.
What we are doing now is revolutionary and does not exist anywhere else. Giving you private Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin addresses linked to your PlexCoin account and exchanging real-time purchases in PlexCoin is not a technology that exists elsewhere at this time. It is a new technology that completely prevents fraud or cryptocurrency theft risks. Several ICOs have been robbed. It is your money that was stolen. It is important to protect it effectively.
Displaying a single Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, or other cryptocurrency address in an ICO channels the entire value in one place. It is therefore very attractive for hackers to attack this address. As soon as your virtual currency reaches PlexCoin, it is automatically exchanged to its real-time value. Your PlexCoin are then transferred to your private PlexCoin/Ethereum wallet, and the cryptocurrency that you used to purchase these PlexCoin is transferred to a coldwallet and is protected from threats.
We operate the same way for payments by credit card, debit card or Paypal. Some of you will say that they have already seen the credit card payment option in other ICOs. These ICOs are small, therefore their transactions go unnoticed by credit companies or by PayPal. As soon as the volume of transactions increases, the account is noticed and suspended. We will come back to that later in this statement.
We thank you for your encouragement and for the support that you are showing us since the very beginning of this adventure. We also thank all the people who did not believe in us and who changed their mind along the way. Our most grateful acknowledgement goes to those who believed in us since the very beginning. Your energy is magnificent and motivates the entire PlexCorps team.
History of the issues and solutions
August 6, 13h00 GMT
The whole team is ready and is excited to finally launch a project that will change the financial world.
August 6, 14h00 GMT
Launch of our ICO and launch of the Bitcoin, Ethereum and credit card payment options.
August 6, 15h00 GMT
Due to the high number of credit card transactions, our supplier has virtually rejected all transactions. We then post a warning message on Facebook.
Solution: We communicate with our supplier and we change some of the safety rules. An hour and a half later, credit card payments work well again.
August 7, 1h00 GMT
Our credit card payment provider receives an anonymous complaint from people who have created a Reddit page in order to shut us down and cause us as much damage as possible without valuable motives.
Therefore, our supplier decides to cancel our credit card payment service.
August 7, 2h00 GMT
Our Bitcoin servers are slowed down. There are too many incoming transactions and the service becomes very slow.
Solution: We increase the resources dedicated to Bitcoin transactions and the problem is quickly fixed.
August 7, 12h00 GMT
We already reached the point of no return. The pre-sale starts off very well, although we still do not accept credit cards. Meanwhile, our team is negotiating with PayPal to offer the card payment option again as soon as possible.
August 7, 18h00 GMT
PayPal payments work again. We continue our tools’ assessment and we publish on Facebook to keep you informed of the developments.
August 8, 12h00 GMT
Our main website is attacked by the group that wants to shut us down. Many complaints are filed to our registrar. We receive over 2 000 emails per hour. Our team is overwhelmed!
Solution: We switch our DNS addresses to the plexcoin.org domain. The page comes back online, but the .com domain remains shut down.
August 8, 18h00 GMT
The plexcoin.com domain is back online.
August 8, 21h00 GMT
We decide to extend the presale by a week because of the problems encountered during the last days and to allow people to buy some PlexCoin.
August 9, 11h00 GMT
Another attack on the plexcoin.com and plexcoin.org websites occurs. Several complaints are filed to our registrar. Our two domains are suspended.
Solution: We switch our DNS addresses to the plexcoin.tech domain, which is hosted by another registrar. We post a message on Facebook to invite people to visit plexcoin.tech.
August 9, 19h00 GMT
PayPal payments are available again.
August 9, 21h00 GMT
We had problems with missing Bitcoin addresses on some clients’ accounts. This issue is fixed and the missing addresses are distributed.
August 10, 1h00 GMT
PayPal receives complaints from the group that is doing everything to shut us down and decides to suspend our account to carry out assessments.
Solution: After negotiating with Paypal for hours and realizing that there would be no agreement, we decided to refund all the people who paid by this means and compensate them by depositing 100 PlexCoin in their account.
August 10, 13h00 GMT
We implement a unique encryption system that uses a portion of your private PlexCoin address to encrypt your email address, your password and your wallet. Security is very important to us. That's why we invented a new type of encryption system based on your private virtual currency address, so it is undecryptable.
August 10, 20h00 GMT
Plexcoin.com is back online after long negotiations with our registrar.
August 11, 9h00 GMT
Our team starts to work on the new payment solution. It will provide more than 15 payment options. This new technology needs to be analyzed, created and assessed. We are confident that with this new offering, we will sell the 400 million PlexCoin before the end of the pre-sale.
August 11, 19h00 GMT
More than 100 000 members support our project. We have the much needed motivation to continue our progression.
August 14, 9h00 GMT
A few days passed without encountering any problem. We develop the new payment option, and improve our structure and customer access at the same time.
August 14, 20h00 GMT
We release a form to report issues regarding transactions. We select people from the team who will dedicate themselves to solving the problems and to reply to the messages regarding that matter.
August 15, 19h00 GMT
The Litecoin payment option is functional.
August 15, 20h00 GMT
All the pending Bitcoin transactions are now approved. The next ones will automatically be approved according to the blockchain status.
August 15, 21h00 GMT
The 100 PLX bonuses for reimbursed PayPal transactions are distributed.
August 15, 22h00 GMT
All the pending Ethereum transactions are approved. From then on, they will automatically be approved according to the blockchain status.
August 22, 20h00 GMT
All the purchased PlexCoin are distributed to the members’ private addresses. PlexCoin officially exists from this moment on. People officially possess the PlexCoin that they bought.
Now
As time goes by, the issues become less serious. We announced several good news over the past days. It is important to inform you of any change, problem or implemented solution when an issue occurs. Although we know that many customers are unhappy when we encounter problems, it is our duty to inform you about everything that is going on at PlexCoin.
Please note that Facebook is the platform we currently use to keep our members updated. We are working on the development of a blog and of a service status and server status platform. We plan to come out on several social networks soon.
Other general issues
Other general issues
Due to the high number of members and the problems encountered in the last weeks, our customer service team could not reply to all the messages.
Solution: We have expanded the customer service team, set up an automatic email sorting system, reactivated the Facebook Messenger service, added a form to report issues regarding transactions, and created standardized responses to speed up the response delay.
Important
Transaction icons on your client access
Orange clock
The orange clock means that your transaction has been received. Your PlexCoin are reserved and they are in your account, but the transaction is not yet confirmed. For Ethereum and Litecoin transactions, depending on the blockchain load, confirmation can take up to 12 hours, but usually takes 15 minutes. Bitcoin transactions can be confirmed in as long as 48 hours, but generally confirm within two hours. For payments by credit cards, debit cards or PayPal, the delay is of 45 days because according to the law, you have up to 45 days to request a refund with these payment options. If the transaction is approved, we will distribute your PlexCoin. If you requested a refund from your bank before this time and we would have distributed your PlexCoin, you would get your money back and we would have no way of recovering our PlexCoin since it would already be in your private wallet. Therefore, this measure is taken to avoid fraud and abuse, and to protect PlexCoin’s value.
Transaction bonuses are added to your account when your transaction is approved (green checkmark).
The PlexCoin are distributed in your private wallet when your transaction is approved (green checkmark).
All bonuses will be distributed at the end of the pre-sale, as they come from another PlexCoin wallet (the one reserved for bonuses).
Green checkmark
The green checkmark means that your transaction is processed and confirmed.
Blue star
The blue star shows that you have received some bonus PlexCoin.
Red circle with a diagonal line
This icon indicates that your transaction was denied or cancelled. Your payment did not make it through or the amount was refunded. The PlexCoin were removed from your account.
Form
We received more than 800 transaction issue reports in a few days, and more than half of the forms were reported twice or more. We first sorted out the requests and then distributed the requests to our IT team, which fixes the transactions one by one. There have been no new transaction issues for a few days. The wait is now coming to an end. We have corrected exactly 82% of all transaction issues as of now.
Any error that caused transaction problems was corrected several days ago.
Exclusion
We removed the exclusion clause from our terms and conditions because it caused a lot of confusion. Instead, we've added a clause that invites you to review the laws of your country before purchasing PlexCoin.
Countdown
On your customer access, in the card purchase section, there is a countdown that indicates the time remaining before your private purchase date by card. This countdown is implemented according to the registration order of our members so that the first people who registered to the pre-sale have the chance to buy by card in priority. We will allow 500 people per hour to buy with our new payment option, from September 5, 20h00 GMT. This is not to overload our new payment system.
From your date and time of purchase on, you can buy at any time and the number of times you want.
Next weeks’ forecast
The card payment option is the most requested one on social networks and we talk about it unceasingly. PlexCoin’s mission is to facilitate access to cryptocurrencies. We must provide the card payment option.
We thus developed a user-friendly system that gives you the option to buy PlexCoin without limits of transaction number or of purchase amounts.
This option will also be available on the PlexWallet.
Our option will come with no boundaries, unlike other platforms that limit purchases to $ 100 or $ 200. You may buy for $ 100 000.00 if you want.
Advertising is currently paused. We want to complete the development of our technologies, provide card payment options and reactivate the .com domain before relaunching advertisement.
Advertising will be resumed as soon as we decide that it is possible to welcome new members.
Exchange platforms
When the pre-sale comes to the end, we will have a few days to distribute the bonuses. You will then receive your private key in order to sell, exchange and transfer your PlexCoin. You will also be asked to enable the double authentication on your account to protect your money.
You will then be able to sell, to buy or to trade your PlexCoin from the PlexWallet. We will be on coinmarketcap.com, so you will be able to follow the evolution PlexCoin’s value. The first external exchange platform that we will be on is Bittrex. Others will follow in a timely manner.
Bonus lock
Currently, all bonuses have a lock at their right. You will soon be able to check if your transactions total at least US $ 100. Those who meet this requirement will see the lock disappear. Their bonus PlexCoin will then be available. They will be transferred to your private wallet at the end of the pre-sale.
Anyone who has accumulated bonus PlexCoin but who will not have purchased more than US $ 100 before the end of the pre-sale will lose their bonus. These will be deposited in the main PlexCoin bonus wallet.
PlexCard ranking
Over the next days, the ranking of buyers who will be eligible for one of the PlexCards will be indicated on the client access. We will notify you when this is online. Please note that the people who will receive the Platinium Member and Helper Member cards have already been determined, as these cards are distributed to those who bought first.
The ranking for the Ultimate Member card is changing all the time. You will soon see your position on the list. You will be able to try to make it among the 500 top buyers, thus receive this unique card that will offer incredible advantages.
Delay before the end of the presale
As mentioned in one of our latest publications on Facebook, we will extend the pre-sale by around 14 days. This number of days will be exactly the same number of days you will have waited before accessing the card payment. We want to respect our commitment to let you 30 days to buy your PlexCoin by having access to all our payment options.
Domain
Currently, plexcorps.com, plexcoin.com and plexcoin.org are all hosted by the same registrar. They were suspended because according to the registrar’s terms and conditions, they do not accept customers who offer cryptocurrency.
It was a detail that we did not notice when we moved our domains to this place. It must be said that the complaints made on Reddit did not help us.
We are therefore waiting patiently for the date when we can transfer our domains elsewhere to reactivate them. We can already tell you that plexcorps.com will be transferred early next week, so it will officially be back online.
The delay will be slightly longer for plexcoin.com and plexcoin.org. There will be two weeks of wait before they can be transferred. After that, the .com will return, and we will close the other temporary domains (.org and .tech).
It is then just a matter of time.
Relaunch
We currently sold more than 20 000 000 PlexCoin. The three quarters of these were sold in the first days. We are aware that the sales slowed down due to the problems we faced and the limited payment options we are currently offering. We are bouncing back, and we are preparing a fantastic relaunch plan.
A combination of solidity, transparency, card payments and advertising will ensure that we will sell the 400 million PlexCoin. We are confident. We will continually develop and improve our products. Our motivation comes from your support and our dream of changing the financial world.
Did you know? When you buy a coffee with your credit card, the money goes through more than ten vendors before arriving in the merchant's pockets. Each provider takes its percentage of profit, and your money is transferred more than ten times before being deposited into the beneficiary's account.
When you make a transaction with the PlexCard, there is no third party. The money will be deposited directly into the merchant's account. The transaction will therefore be safer, will involve much less fees and will be totally confidential.
Our members
We bet to those who have already followed ICOs other than PlexCoin that they have never seen so much action in such a short time! We make a lot of noise with our unusual methods. Many people have written articles and blog posts about us, and have gone to great lengths to create us a reputation of frauds and thieves. They have no evidence of that, except that we are different. However, the tide is turning. People who did not believe in us at first come to see us in public and in private to apologize and encourage us.
To help us, and to help increase the value of your PlexCoin, it would be nice if you take the time to go on the forums or blogs that slander us to express your point of view and show your confidence in PlexCoin to the world.
When most of the negative articles about us were written, we had not yet distributed our white paper. Our methods were already different from all other known ICOs. We understand that this has raised some questions, but we do not understand that people immediately defamed us without evidence.
For the past two weeks, we have carried out several actions that clearly prove that we are here for the right reasons. We are constantly progressing.
Finally, we work hard to outpace Bitcoin. We aim to release the next global currency that can be used everywhere and that will be accepted by every business in the world. PlexCoin is not only a virtual currency, it is also a card, a wallet and a bank!
We work for you, and we ask you to work for us. Let's turn the financial world inside out. Share your experience with others to erase the bad reputation that critics have attempted to establish for us.
Acknowledgements
We often thank you, but it will never be enough to equal your trust in our project. Over the next two weeks, many things will change. You will see the sale levels go up and the PlexCoin sell rapidly. We will build a great relationship with people who did not trust us at first. We will shine, and PlexCoin’s value will increase.
We will be on coinmarketcap. Card payments will be available. We will launch our Spanish website. The official plexcoin.com domain will be back. We will set up the last details so that the end of our pre-sale runs effortlessly.

Information about Overseas Pharmacies and how Big Pharma is blocking your access to affordable medicine

Just some view points you might not be aware of.
http://pastebin.com/tsi1CpAq
International Pharmaceutical Firms: Your Health Your Money Your Rights Unfortunately Your Rights Are Restricted
AIPCTSHOP.com
Your Money, Your Body, Your Rights? Unfortunately it's not as easy as that, have you recently tried to order Generic Medications online only to find the payment options disappearing? You are not alone, for the last few years payment processing has become increasingly difficult for online Pharmacies. Under pressure, pressure from special interest groups and Big Pharmaceutical firms or both, Visa and MasterCard joined Center for Safe Internet Pharmacies (CSIP) which is an alliance of organizations that aims are to protect people from rogue and unsafe online pharmacies. While this sounds like a wonderful group and every consumer needs protection against counterfeit medications, CSIP takes a very broad based approach to what is a rogue pharmacy and basically rejects any pharmacy based outside the United States mainland. While every person should be wary of ordering anything online especially medications, there are multitude of valid, safe, legitimate online pharmacies that do exist and care about your health and well being. More importantly online Generic Pharmacy providers can save you 50 to 80 % or more on your medication costs. While Americans are struggling to pay their medication needs, organizations like CSIP make it almost impossible for the average person to obtain reasonable cost safe medications from overseas.
First let us take a look at CSIP, The members are the entire Internet Ecosystem from domain name registers, registrars, Hosting Firms, Online Advertising, purchase and delivery agents, payment processors, and more. To name a few, American Express, Discover, Facebook, GoDaddy, Google, MasterCard, VISA, Microsoft, Paypal, UPS, Yahoo and that are only a few of the members. This small list here is the entire internet ecosystem, if CSIP can tell a domain name register to lock a domain name, tell search engines NOT to show International Pharmacies, tell hosts to shut your site, tell payment processors like credit cards and paypal to not accept payments for International Pharmacies, it is no wonder that online international pharmacies fight an uphill battle daily to provide you reasonable cost safe medications. As if the list above is not difficult enough to deal with, the biggest concern is the ex officio member named Legit Script.
Before we get to LegitScript, CSIP appears to be focused solely on keeping it's members in good graces of the Big Pharmaceutical Industry and governments rather then helping American Consumers obtain safe and lower cost generic medications and by limiting safe and affordable medicines is in reality a danger to public health. In 2010 CSIP was created by a plan from the White House Office of the US Intellectual Property Enforcement Coordinator who was handed this plan by the Pharmaceutical Industry. Notice this is not the plan of the FDA or DEA or others, the plan was created by the Pharmaceutical Industry working with INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ENFORCEMENT. Nothing about your health and safety, all about the financial bottom line of the largest conglomerate firms in the world maintaining their income streams.
The CSIP has two main purposes, to scare the public away from using illegal pharmacies, which they classify as any pharmacy outside of the USA which sell genuine but lower priced medication to Americans. Their second purpose is to shut down online pharmacies by blocking their ability to appear in online searches and block their payment processing, cut off the payments and the firms will die. And how does CSIP and it's members classify illegal pharmacies? Well this is where LegitScript comes into the picture.
The exofficio member of CSIP for monitoring online pharmacies is called LegitScript. LegitScript is a private company that certifies online pharmacies for safety and they have obtained multiple contracts even one from the FDA for 5.2 million USD to monitor the internet; however they automatically reject any pharmacy that is NOT located inside the USA and every drug must be FDA approved if selling into the USA. So even if the products are certified for sale in the EU they would be classified as a rogue pharmacy operator by Legit Script as they do not carry FDA approval. Safe and legal and certified for sale in the EU but Rogue for the USA.
Again, consumer protection is important; however many question how LegitScript which is NOT a USA Federal Agency of any sorts and has no legal right to shut down any operation is able to tell CSIP to freeze domain names, reject payment processing, lock sites hosted on the web, reject advertising for firms just because they are not in the USA is criminal with NO DUE PROCESS. LOOK at the power LegitScript holds and there is no Due Process at all, if this was any other industry or area people would be up in arms; however as CSIP tells Google, Yahoo and others what they can display it is no wonder this news is not more broadly knows. What CSIP and LegitScript is based on smoke and mirrors with no legal frame work to back them up. LegitScript is a private company set up by John Horton who worked in the Bush White House as the Deputy Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy and he went on to exploit that position to personally line his own pockets financially while denying American's of low cost generic medications. While serving in his Government Position, congress requested a report on a strategy to stop advertisements on information about obtaining drugs over the internet, and the scope was limited to controlled substances; however John Horton changed the scope to limiting any medication whether it be controlled or non controlled. This is rumored to have been done under the influence of Lobby Groups from Big Pharmaceutical Firms which obviously make less money when people have access to Generic Medications. Given how Big Pharmaceutical firms set up CSIP it comes as no stretch that they would also back and fund LegitScript.
The results of this was:: ““The DEA, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and/or ONDCP will meet with the major Internet advertising services (Google, Yahoo and others) to encourage voluntary action such that only online pharmacies in compliance with Federal and State laws are advertised through the major Internet advertising services. Search engines will be requested to voluntarily adopt standards that comply and encourage consumer compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations, and Boards of Pharmacy standards. This will be done in consultation with the State Boards of Pharmacy through the NABP.” “ Which is only setting up John Horton's own business LegitScript which he founded in 2007. After submitting his report to Congress John Horton left office and went on to conduct business which is a misuse of position policy by using his public office for his private gain. In 2009 John Horton moved his Legitscript from a non for profit to a for profit however they deny they are only a front for Big Pharmaceutical companies and lobby groups; however LegitScript takes no payment from pharmacies for certification, so who is funding the operation besides the US Government contracts?
We feel it is very apparent that CSIP and LegitScript are only tools of the Big Pharma operations limiting peoples access to fair priced medications. Currently LegitScript has expanded their powers by reporting any rogue online pharmacy to Domain and Web Hosting groups and getting the domain names locked, and the hosts to shut down the web sites of any pharmacy that LegitScript claims is not valid. However LegitScript only recognizes US Based Pharmacies, so everything outside of USA according to them is a rogue pharmacy. LegitScript is not serving the good of the American People who already pay more then any other nationality for medications, they are are not a Federal Agency, however with Lobby Groups and pressure they have effectively limited payment, advertising, hosting, and searches for SAFE and affordable generic medications.
While many had hopes for President Obama and Obama Care, their true stripes were shown by congress and the Obama White House. To open up competition in medications would have been one of the few things that Obamacare was worth having. During the political process there were measures introduced for Pharmacies to report any price increase over 10% and to make it illegal for firms to pay off generic manufacturers to NOT make their generic counterparts which sure sounds like paying competition not to produce as a genuine antitrust violation. Yes this is correct, Big Pharmaceutical firms pay firms NOT to make low cost generics which is 100% a violation of antitrust but the US Government allows this practice to limit your access to affordable medicine. So what happened, how did Big Pharmaceutical companies deal with ObamaCare? Pharmaceutical companies pledged 80 billion USD to help fund Obamacare in 2009 in exchange for protection from drug price negotiations that the democrats wanted to include in the affordable care act. Clearly the US congress and the white house had no interest in protecting the American citizen but only to line the pockets of Big Pharmaceutical companies and their lobbies. End Result, even with ObamaCare Big Pharmaceuticals paid them off to maintain their monopoly.
Even once online pharmacies battle their way around the above restrictions now comes the biggest danger of LegitScript and CSIP and their little backroom gang of Big Pharmaceutical firms, their ability to pressure merchant banks to stop processing payments. Through their influence they have effectively put so much pressure on Merchant Banks to stop high risk processing that it makes it impossible for pharmacies to get paid. Currently High Risk Merchants in the Pharmacy area need to have over 100,000 USD a month in sales and be USA based operation to even apply for Credit Card processing. HOW can a firm obtain 100,000 USD a month in sales if there is no way to get paid in the first place? This is the reason why people need to learn Bitcoin and the world needs to embrace non regulated currency. It is your money and it is your right to use it how you wish.
Does it sound like CSIP, your congress, LegitScript and the US FDA has gone too far in limiting the public's access to to generic medication? Well the National Bureau of Economic Research believes the FDA has gone too far. "A blanket warning against any foreign website may deny consumers substantial price savings," states the report from the National Bureau of Economic Research. Their economic analysis states there is good reason for safety warnings but many Americans do not fill their prescriptions because they can not afford to do so, and some legitimate foreign pharmacies may offer medicines at prices lower then those of US suppliers. "In the U.S., tens of millions of Americans go without prescribed medication due to cost each year," the study says. "For most uninsured Americans, lower priced drugs from foreign online pharmacies are an attractive option and for many a necessary one." "In light of this," the researchers asked, "we wonder whether a blanket warning against foreign websites has limited price competition between U.S. and foreign websites, and whether a more open and educational policy could make better use of the existing verification services for consumer savings in authentic drugs."
To us that sure sounds like a direct statement about the failure of CSIP and LegitScript towards protecting the American Public. While people have the right to purchase Health Killing products like Tobacco and Alcohol, there are people actively working to LIMIT your right to affordable medications for the sole purpose of building up their own bank accounts. You are allowing your Government to limit your freedom, your choices, your rights on how to best manage your health and your Government is putting those rights into the hands of a NON Federal Agency such as LegitScript.
We here at AIPCTSHOP.com battle daily very large and powerful forces that want to limit the services we provide to you our clients. We’ve had our site attacked, our domain attacked, our advertising attacked, our payment processors removed, we’ve battled for a while trying to only supply quality products at a fair price to you our clients. We are not asking for sympathy and we are surely not perfect, our web site needs work, a lot of work, and our supply chain needs work and there is an endless list of upgrades we can do and do plan to do. However we spend a LOT of our time just maintaining against people who want to block your access to affordable pharmacies like ourselves. We only sell quality brands like CIPLA / INTAS / GSK / J&J to name a few, companies that are contracted and paid to make medications that you buy for a huge mark up.
So we just wanted to give our clients a background on the situation and give you all a BIG thank you for supporting us. The more you can learn alternate payments like Bitcoin, the more you spread the word that we are an honest firm and we provide quality goods, the better we can service you and all. The more you can promote us to your friends, family, associates and around the world the better we can provide for you.

Namechains

Namechain Domain Example
Generate a private key from UTF-8('namechain') = 6E 61 6D 65 63 68 61 69 6E (with a bunch of leading zeros to be accurate).
Generate the pubkey: secp256k1(6E 61 6D 65 63 68 61 69 6E)
Generate an actually secure private key.
Generate a pubkey from that.
Create a 2 of 2 multisig address from those two pubkeys. I should note here that for generic TLD names, ideally we wouldn't require a second key and a multisig address, only the first keypair composed of the 'name' keys. The reason I have the second keypair in this iteration is because I'm not proficient enough with P2SH 'redeem scripts' to know how to write a script that guarantees funds flowing through an address without someone being able to sniff node traffic and try and double spend those funds as they 'flow through' (or if that script is possible but I'm fairly certain it is?). This would be pretty useful. As for now, it's just extra data (so extra costs), but it does allow for a 'name' to sign names under it similar to a CA scheme, effectively creating two chains from a name: a signed one and an unsigned one. Maybe this is desirable.
Anyways, fund that multisig address. Spend those funds to an 'ownership' address to expose the public keys (used for verifying names/values with keys). This conveniently lets us establish an ownership address though, whose address itself can be used as the corresponding key to our name that allows us to generate signatures to verify ownership (and can be used later for transferring).
So now a name and key are paired together. If someone signs a message saying they are 'namechain', we can verify this by searching through transactions, attempting to find a public key that matches that name by searching for the first 'place-in-chain' transaction with a signature whose public key matches secp256k1(UTF-8('namechain')) and verify the signature from the ownership address one transaction away (we can use the ownership address to devise a protocol for transferring names too). Even though it's a multisig transaction, each key is exposed individually, so the convention is the 'name' key is always first or something.
Problems:
This method makes names a function of transactions (which miners will like), makes names hard to prune? (if you care about them), effectively putting trust into the blockchain rather than a third party. Names are still discoverable in the sense that you can create a list of names and scan the blockchain for them. As far as how names are domains, consider that namechain is a part of the bitcoin domain. Registering an unsigned name under the namechain domain might involve creating a multisig transaction that includes 'namechain''s keys, your new name's keys, and for now, that pair of secure keys that ensures you don't get robbed while registering. For signed names, that 2 of 2 multisig address you used to register it would act as the signing address similar to a CA scheme. This means we can go as deep as bitcoin allows addresses in a P2SH multisig 'address' (i think 15 or 20, and probably infinite eventually, the current limit is only enforced by the client?). Possible uses for business people: A service that allows users to register a name, and that offers up an API for verifying names and signatures for websites, effectively creating a universal login (because anyone can do it themselves too!). Or a CA service like I mentioned before. Maybe a certain company is developing a compact node you can use at home to verify this kind of stuff and ultimately act as a sort of 1/2FA for pretty much anything. You could do hostname resolution from it by creating a second private key equivalent to an IPv4 or IPv6 address to match with a name and signature. Orphaned blocks are really only a problem if two people register one name in two different valid blocks at the same time, so pretty damn unlikely. There a ton of places to optimize this, but the point is it allows me to associate a name or value with a public key.
Miners could choose to ignore blocks of a name-registration structure without additional fees. Solving the name 'lottery' scenario by using bitcoin Script to allow for registration based on the previously registered name and/or block and necessitating anyone registering a name to create identical transactions would turn the lottery into a 'bid war' per block. Might not be possible. Haven't been looking at the protocol for too long. Tear it to shreds please. Looking into building a proof of concept.

GDPR Threatens To Impair Cryptocurrency Crime Investigations

The European Union’s new General Data Protection Regulation, which took effect on May 25, 2018, will negatively impact the overall security of the Internet and will also inadvertently aid cybercriminals. By restricting access to critical ICANN WHOIS information, the new law will significantly hinder investigations into cybercrime, theft, phishing, ransomware, malware, fraud, and crypto-jacking.
Cybercriminals have increasingly focused their attention on stealing cryptocurrencies including bitcoin ethereum, NEM and ICO currencies. Over $700M of cryptocurrency has been reported as stolen by cybercriminals in the last year, and hundreds of millions more of thefts go unreported by investors, consumers, and cryptocurrency exchanges. The Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG) estimates that criminals have stolen over $1 Billion of cryptocurrency since the start of 2017.
https://preview.redd.it/kbfk5aiiuk011.jpg?width=1056&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=93b84ebe639a9298d3cb589ea4d14893d059e57f
Internet WHOIS data is a fundamental resource for investigators and law enforcement officials who work to prevent these thefts. It comprises the Internet’s database of record, containing the names, addresses and email addresses of those who register domain names for websites on the Internet. Access to WHOIS data is crucial in performing investigations that allow for the recovery of these stolen funds, identifying the persons involved, and providing vital information for law enforcement to arrest and prosecute these criminals.
Whois
Even if WHOIS data is falsified by criminals, detecting patterns of their fake information across different domain names is useful in correlating criminal activity for investigations. WHOIS contact data is also valuable for contacting the owners of small websites and blogs that are often hacked and used to launch criminal attacks and distribute crypto mining malware.
However, GDPR will mean that most European domain data in WHOIS now will no longer be published publicly after May 25. And, unfortunately, some domain name registrars and registry operators are over-interpreting GDPR to justify the redaction of all contact data, no matter what country the contact is in or if they are a “legal person” or business rather than a “natural person” as covered by GDPR.
GDPR was intended to allow balancing the needs for privacy and security. Sections of GDPR describe the creation of codes of conduct and accreditation programs to allow legitimate users to access this kind of data and require them to properly protect it. But thus far, no such program exists or has been deemed adequate by the European Union or any of its member state Data Protection Agencies.
That’s why CipherTrace founded the Cryptocurrency Anti Phishing Working Group. Its member companies, law enforcement agencies, and universities work to prevent cryptocurrency-based crimes. CipherTrace is working with the APWG.org and APWG.eu to explore how these non-profit organizations can provide adequate and legally acceptable accreditation systems for security practitioners to access WHOIS data in the age of GDPR.

11-18 22:52 - 'How I bought a domain with BTC' (self.Bitcoin) by /u/Huey-E removed from /r/Bitcoin within 4-14min

'''
Being the cryptocurrency enthusiast I am, I usually try to spend Bitcoin and "alts" where I can. A few weeks ago I wanted to build a website, so my first thought was to look for registrars that accept Bitcoin as a payment, and I came across [domains4bitcoins]1 . So I sent around $25 (at the time) worth of Bitcoin to my [Mycelium wallet]2 , and then proceeded to pay around $18 to the registrar for my order. The transaction fee was about 118 sat/byte amounting to just a couple of dollars, and this was sent as a low-priority transaction.
But now since the exchange rate of Bitcoin has risen, I have around $10 in my Mycelium wallet that I can't do much with. I wanted to send it back to an exchange to trade for another coin (which has more purpose for me than the "store-of-value" people are resorting to calling BTC lately), given all of the forking drama. I tried to broadcast a transaction last night, and I didn't care how long it would take, so I put a relatively low 63 sat/byte fee. I awoke in the morning to see it not even being broadcasted. I didn't mind all of the forking drama until I realized that I can't even move a $10 without getting scalped for >10%.
So right now I'm stuck with $10 of practically useless Bitcoin sitting in my wallet. I never thought this would be an issue. It's useless because I can't practically use it. I will never buy coffee with it, I won't buy another Steam game because my debit card is cheaper. It just sits there until I decide I want to have someone rob me for 10%. Not even VISA does this.
What have we allowed to happen here? This "Bitcoin" is no longer practical for typical transactions. To me, a $10 bill would be favorable over the $10 in Bitcoin that I can't use. And this is NOT typical of other cryptocurrencies out there that are faster, cheaper, etc.
Thus, I will no longer be supporting or promoting Bitcoin to my peers. This is not the direction Satoshi envisioned, and it no longer empowers individuals. Don't let Bitcoin steal your money.
FTR, this post was auto-removed multiple times for mentioning another subreddit "are///(B)(T)(C)", and other cryptos like "(e)-(t)-(h)-(e)-(r)". No wonder there's nothing but memes on this sub.

Important Announcement from Plexcoin.
